Here is a very unusual fossil. These are a fossil beetles dragon-fly, preserved in tar from the Pleistocene ''La Brea Tar Pits'' of California. The distinct beetles are very well preserved in a 3-dimensional fashion. The detail is excellent. These are a very cool fossil insects from a classic fossil site.
