A gold sphere hangs from the shell-shaped tops, swinging from a cute little hinge. Both shell and sphere are heavily embellished with Etruscan Revival designs of applied wire and beadwork. A light bloom covers the surface, highlighting the earrings' ornate detail. Locking French ear wires are secure and comfortable. These earbobs are so wonderful you will never want to take them off. Circa 1870.

Details.....The earrings measure 1.05" long, and the ball is .44" in diameter. In Very Good Antique Condition. Some wear is to be expected on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
