A dramatic vintage ring, modeled in 10k yellow gold, featuring a large, oval, nephrite jade cabochon, upon which a shapely, natural gold nugget is mounted. Our luminous slab of moss-green jade is held in the ring’s crown-like, fourteen-prong head. The nugget is riveted to the jade, so that it appears to float in a green field. The ring's gallery is scalloped and carved to accentuate the prongs. The half-round shank is weighty at the shoulder and tapers toward the base. This ring has a powerful, earthy vibe— we love the contrasting textures and the fascinating, one-of-a-kind form of this natural nugget. The gold nugget is 20-22k purity. This ring measures approx 1.4”, north to south— its long oval shape is very flattering on the hand.
